
Physical conditioning is fully integrated into students' technical and tactical training through a varied, and motivational, series of exercises.
The Academy has full facilities with everything necessary for physical training: muscle-building equipment, cardiovascular machines, training rooms and an1.000-metre jogging circuit in an unbeatable setting.
The physical conditioning department plans the intensity of technical work in various cycles in keeping with each group's competition calendar, and the stretching and recovery times in rotations of daily exercises.
Endurance, speed, strength and other tests are applied in order to know the physical condition of each player and his assimilation of the training programme. The physical tests are compared with the results of the medical tests, so that the work load and intensity being applied at any time can be readjusted to each student's personal characteristics.
Physical work is oriented not only toward bringing out each player's maximum physical aptitudes, but also preventing injuries.
