Last Thursday, players who will participate in the National Wheelchair Tennis Masters, highlighted the different aspects of the sport in a clinic organized by the Emilio Sanchez Vicario Foundation at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona.
Taking place ahead of the National tournament, the clinic saw the appearance of players like Daniel Caverzaschi, among others, and has served to introduce wheelchair tennis to children and teenagers at the Real Club de Polo.
The event, coordinated by Rocio Portales, also highlighted the important work of the Escuela de Tenis de Discapacidad Intelectual (Tennis School for people with Intellectual Disabilities) which the Emilio Sanchez Vicario Foundation runs in the Sánchez-Casal Academy.
The players regularly attending the tennis school, which is in its sixth year, demonstrated their progress and were able to rally with the National Wheelchair Tennis Masters players.
